PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for conveying men and wheel chairs using an elevator function in particular for vehicles having an elevator device for a deck and a cabin. SOLUTION: This vehicle allows even a wheel chair for physically handicapped persons to utilize an elevator function using an elevator to the door way of a building and airplane without using a staircase at the door way of the building and the airplane. This vehicle can safely guide a user to the deck and cabin by making the contact with the gate way of the deck tailored to that of the building or the airplane depend upon a component and can pass through a slope from the travel face of the vehicle to the cabin using a slope plate. The deck is elevated from the body of the vehicle to be coupled with the gate way of the building or the air plane, and the cabin is coupled with the deck coupled with the gate way. The vehicle is provided with a bridge to directly couple the cabin on the body of the self-propelled vehicle with the ground through a flat passage. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
