PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toilet facilities capable of mitigating impact resistance required for equipment provided on a toilet seat supporting member and the supporting member, etc. SOLUTION: The floating unit 20 of the toilet seat supporting member 2 is provided with a stepping motor 30, a pinion 31 fixed to the rotary shaft of the stepping motor 30 and a rack 32 with which the pinion 31 is engaged. The motor 30 is fixed to the front base plate 3a of the toilet seat supporting member 2. The rack 32 is fixed to a frame 33 erected from a rear base plate 4a arranged on a toilet body 1. At the end of an elevating process and at the end of a lowering process, a control circuit for the floating unit 20 prolongs the interval of pulses to be supplied to the stepping motor 30, slows the rotation of the stepping motor 30 and makes the elevating speed and lowering speed of the front base plate 3a lower than before, respectively.
