PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magneto-optical modulation coil in which heat emitted from a coil is dissipated efficiently, and also to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This magneto-optical modulation coil has such a constitution that a magnetic layer 7 is formed on a glass substrate 1 and a coil is stuck on it.
