PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone set capable of storing a incoming call history without exception, and enabling the user to select whether the stored call history is to be displayed depending on the continuation time or the number of ringing signals. SOLUTION: The telephone set includes an incoming-call continuation time measurement section 4 for measuring the elapsed time from the start of termination to an answer or a disconnect from the originator, or the number of ringing times; an incoming call history storage 5 for storing incoming history information including the incoming call continuation time information measured by the incoming-call continuation time measurement section 4; a display unit 7 for displaying the incoming call history information stored in the incoming call history storage 5; an incoming-call history display control unit 8 for controlling to display on the display unit 7 only the incoming call history information, among the history information stored in the incoming-call history storage having the incoming continuation time or the number of ringing signals exceeding a predetermined reference value, and controlling not to display on the display unit 7 the incoming history information below the reference value; and a selection section 9 for selecting whether the display control settings by the incoming-call history display control unit 8 is to be valid or invalid.
