PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recycling a used product comprising heat-resistant high functional fibers such as wholly aromatic polyamide fibers as a nonwoven fabric. SOLUTION: This method for recycling the used heat-resistant high functional fiber product is characterized by, if desired, preliminarily washing the used heat-resistant high functional fiber product, subjecting the washed product to a cracking treatment, opening the cracked product to form a cotton like product, and then using the cotton-like product to form the nonwoven fabric.
