PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making an LNG having a high calorific value have low calories, with which the calorific value of the LNG is readily and inexpensively adjusted without deteriorating the combustion characteristic of the LNG and the LNG is shipped. SOLUTION: In adjusting the LNG, which is concentrated in a low-temperature storage tank 11 and made into a heavy LNG, to a gas having a fixed calorific value and supplying the gas to a consumption system, the LNG discharged from the low-temperature storage tank 11 is heated and vaporized, the vaporized gas is mixed with the LNG discharged from the low-temperature storage tank 11, the temperature of the mixture is adjusted, the gas and the liquid are equilibrated, introduced into a gas-liquid separator 14, separated into a gas and a liquid under fixed pressure, the heavy separated liquid subjected to the gas-liquid separation is introduced to a distillation column 31, the heavy component is separated from the separated liquid, a light component is gasified, the gas of the gasified light component is mixed with the gas separated by the gas-liquid separator 14 and supplied to the consumption system.
