PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus, a method, and a program for printing plate inspection and a recording medium where the program is recorded for making it possible to easily inspect the relation between machine plates before machine plate output without using any film for plate making.

SOLUTION: The printing plate inspecting apparatus which inspects the relation between the printing plates divided in specified color components is equipped with: a acquiring means of acquiring image data of the respective printing plates; and a display control means of performing control for alternately displaying images regarding at least two pieces of image data among the obtained image data of the printing plates on the same display screen.
