PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame retardant polyolefinic resin composition required of a high degree of flame retardancy and its molded articles. SOLUTION: The flame retardant polyolefinic resin composition is made by adding a brominated bisphenol ether derivative as shown in formula wherein R is hydrogen or a methyl and A is -(CH<SB>3</SB>)<SB>2</SB>-, -SO<SB>2</SB>-, -S-or -CH<SB>2</SB>-, together with a halogenated alicyclic hydrocarbon containing bromine of≥40% to a polyolefinic resin, and further 2, 4, 6-tris(mono-, di- or tri-bromo phenoxy)triazine may be added thereto.
