URETHANE ELASTOMER-FORMING COMPOSITION, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING URETHANE ELASTOMER, AND URETHANE ELASTOMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition capable of forming a urethane elastomer having both a low initial modulus and high elongation properties, and good low-temperature characteristics, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The composition comprises a main agent containing an isocyanate group-terminated prepolymer to be obtained by reacting 1, 2-bis(2-isocyanatoethoxy)ethane with a long-chain polyol and a curing agent containing an active hydrogen compound having an average functional group number of 2-4. The manufacturing method comprises a step of reacting 1, 2-bis(2-isocyanatoethoxy)ethane with a long-chain polyol to prepare an isocyanate group-terminated prepolymer and a step of reacting the obtained isocyanate group-terminated prepolymer with an active hydrogen compound having an average functional group number of 2-4.
