<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system capable of improving the convenience of the editing work of a document without laying out a document prepared by various applications on a certain application. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device 10 is composed of: a scanner 1 for reading the image data of a printing medium such as paper not shown in the figure; a margin amount setting part 5 for preliminarily setting an area considered as a margin area on the printing medium; a margin area detecting part 2 for detecting at least the area set by the margin amount setting part 5 as a margin area based on the image data read by the scanner 1; a communication means 3 for transmitting image data 25 and the margin area information detected by the margin area detecting part 2; and a print processing part 4 for recording print data on the printing medium based on the print data. An information processor 20 consists of a personal computer(PC) or the like, and is composed of: a margin area selecting means 22 for selecting a margin area to be used; and a magnification means 23 for magnifying print data to be printed in the margin area selected by the margin area selecting means 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
