POLISHING BELT AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing belt having high strength, obtaining an excellent polished surface and improving productivity.

SOLUTION: This polishing belt includes urethane or rubber seamless belt base materials 4 and a polishing layer 2, and a core material 3 is inserted between the belt base materials 4. The polishing layer 2 is foamed polyurethane, woven fabric or nonwoven fabric or a polishing tape. The core material 3 is made of a metal wire or a metal thin sheet. The core material 3 may be intertwisted or woven by polyester or aramid fiber. A method for manufacturing the polishing belt is also simultaneously given.
