PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint cover which enables the front end of a building to expand/contract without crossing a boundary at the time of an earthquake etc., and positively prevents the formation of a gap and the infiltration of rainwater into a joint. SOLUTION: The joint cover is formed of one mounting member 7, the other mounting member 9, an expansion link 11, joint cover bearing pieces 12, a plurality of joint cover bodies 1, and a fixed joint cover. The one mounting member 7 is rotatably mounted on the upper portion of a skeleton 5 of a retaining wall or the like arranged next to the building via a joint portion 4. The other mounting member 9 is rotatably mounted on a skeleton of the outer wall surface 3 or the like of the building 2 opposed to the skeleton 5. The expansion link 11 has both ends pivoted on the mounting members. The joint cover bearing pieces 12 are arranged at predetermined intervals such that one closer to the one mounting member is higher in height than one closer to the other mounting member. The joint cover bodies cover the joint portion, and they are each formed such that an upward projecting rear end is attached to the joint cover bearing piece and a downward projecting front end is located almost at the center of the lower side. The fixed joint cover is attached to the outer wall surface above the other mounting member, and covers the outer wall surface and the area of the outer-wall-side joint cover, on one side of its center closer to the outer wall.
