PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a corrugated board sheet, minimizes the number of parts, facilitate formation, and maintain clearance between the internal faces of a packing box and a cushioning material. SOLUTION: A bottom cushioning material 3 consists of a single corrugated board sheet 3a. A left bottom plate 5 and a right bottom plate 6 formed on the left and right of the corrugated board sheet 3a are folded back. A front left product-receiving press plate 7 and a front right product-receiving press plate 8 designed so as to be in contact with the front left and right corners of a product 1 to be packed are folded nearly at right angles. A left triangular portion 9 and a right triangular portion 10 defined in the respective front ends are mountain-folded along creases 11 and 12, respectively, and the portions are abutted on the internal face of the packing box 2. Further, a left product receiving-press plate 13, a right product-receiving press plate 14, and a rear product receiving-press plate 15, provided on the left, right, and rear of the sheet 3a, are also folded back and and abutted on the internal faces of the packing box 2. Thus, the front left product-receiving press plate 13 and the front right product-receiving press plate 8 are kept nearly at right angles and the left, right, and rear product receiving-press place are each formed at an angle.
