PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feed tray for avoiding the erroneous setting of paper size at a low cost. SOLUTION: This paper feed tray is equipped with a box body 2 extractable from and insertable into a copying machine body 1 with a paper sheet loaded thereon and a stopper 3 provided on a front edge upper part of the box body 2 so that the stopper 3 can project into the exterior by being energized by an elastic body when the box body 2 is extracted. The shape of the stopper 3 is set so that the box body 2 is disabled from being inserted into the machine body 1 unless the stopper 3 is thrusted back into the box body 2. A notation to the effect that the paper size should be accurately set is provided on the stopper 3, thereby prompting a user to check the setting of the paper size. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
