PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling lift etc. which is compact and has good operability. SOLUTION: A vertically moving part 3 is fixed standing on a travelable carriage part 2. The vertically moving part 3 has a vertically moving mechanism provided in a main body mast 12. The vertically moving mechanism is obtained by fitting a driving shaft to an electric actuator 14 in a vertically movable state and disposing a chain drum at its upper end. A chain is put over the chain drum to fix one end of the chain and the other end is fixed to a slide block slidable along the main body mast 12. An attachment part 32 fixed to the back face of a sitting seat 4 is fitted to the slide block to connect the seat 4. When the driving shaft is moved vertically, the seat 4 is moved vertically associated with the movement of the shaft. The moving distance of the seat 4 is twice as long as that of the driving shaft.
