PURPOSE: A thermal damage-preventing apparatus with wake control of a cooling fan is provided to induce cooling wind toward a rear portion of an engine by forming an air guide formed to a side of an under cover. CONSTITUTION: An air guide(32) is formed to an under cover(30) covering a lower portion of an engine room(10) to induce air blasted by a cooling fan(20) to a thermal damage region(16) on a rear portion of an engine(14). Therein, air is induced to the thermal damage region by operating the cooling fan when temperature around the thermal damage region is over specific temperature. Therefore, thermal damage of peripheral devices of the engine is prevented.
