A water treatment tank (1) has disc which is slid onto a manifold (14) with its central through hole to rest horizontally on top of a top wall (2) at a strainer (16) so that gravel and filter material on top of an upper surface of the disc counteract removal of the manifold when dismounting a cover (9). - The water treatment tank comprises bottom, side, and top walls defining a space (5) inside the tank. The space contains a bottom layer of gravel (29) and a top layer of a filter material, which is to be consumed by substances in water being treated inside the tank and to be replenished in course of time. The tank also has a top opening (6) provided in the top wall for accessing the tank when replenishing the filter material and for inserting manifold into the tank. The manifold comprises a tubular part (15) having an upper end slidingly connected with the manifold, and having lower end including strainer embedded in the bottom layer. The disc which is slid onto the manifold with its central through hole to rest horizontally on top of the top wall at the strainer so that gravel and filter material on top of the upper surface of the disc counteract removal of the manifold when dismounting the cover. |
