A traveling lawn mower, wherein a rotary mower (12) is liftably installed in a traveling frame (1) between front wheels (2) and rear wheels (3), a mowed lawn discharge duct (23) is disposed so as to be extended rearward, an upper duct (57) of downward groove shape in cross section is applied to the mowed lawn outlet (58) of the rotary mower, the rear end thereof is inserted into the front end upper part of the discharge duct (23), the discharge duct (23) is formed in the downward groove shape in cross section, a bottom part duct (61) formed in an upward groove shape in cross section so as to form the bottom plate of the discharge duct is disposed is disposed at the bottom part of the discharge duct so that the front end thereof is vertically moved, and the front end of the bottom part duct is formed so as to be vertically moved together with the rotary mower, whereby the mowed lawn can be smoothly discharged even when the lawn mowing height of the rotary mower is lowered.
