A method for regulating the data access to data storage device for system consisting of several discrete systems (10-12), in which the individual systems (10-12) reserve free data- or address-zones of the data storage device (13) and the reserved zones are then blocked against access by the other individual systems (10-12), and speculatively enlarged zones are reserved opposite the directly required zones.
