Hanging wood-crystal object consists of timber body with sprung ends for easy insertion of faceted glass body, for decorative purposes

The object consists of a timber body (5) of any desired shape with a bore (6), which is smaller by 1-2mm smaller than a faceted glass body (1). The bore has a V-shaped groove (3). The timber body has a cut-out (4) overlapping the bore. This permits the bore to be slightly bent outwards for easy insertion of the glass body. The facets o the glass body engage into the groove, to lock it in place.
