PURPOSE: A combination of wired/wireless mobile communication terminal and a method for using the same are provided to enable a user to use a mobile communication terminal as a wired phone by mounting a wired module to the terminal. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication terminal having a software module and a hardware module to a cable telephone line(S100). When the mobile communication terminal is ringing, namely, when a call is received, it is determined whether the call is received through a cable telephone network or it is received through a mobile communication network(S110-S130). If the call is received through the cable telephone network, the mobile communication terminal is switched to a fixed line mode, so that a call connection can be made to the mobile communication terminal(S140,S150). If, however, the call is received through the mobile communication network, the mobile communication terminal is automatically switched to a wireless mode internally so that a call connection can be made to the mobile communication terminal(S160,S170). If the cable telephone network is desired to be used with the mobile communication terminal, the mobile communication terminal is connected to the cable telephone line and switched to the fixed line mode, so that the cable telephone network can be used without any manipulation(S200,S210). If a service or a call request is desired to be made by using the mobile communication terminal in a state of being connected to the cable telephone line, a switch provided at a certain portion of the mobile communication terminal is selected so that the mobile communication terminal can be switched into a wireless mode(S220). The wireless mode-switched mobile communication terminal is internally cut off from the cable telephone line and instead connected to a wireless network to use several services(S240). |
