PURPOSE: An antenna structure is provided to reduce the sizes of the antenna and the grounding plate, while achieving improved mounting efficiency of the board. CONSTITUTION: An antenna structure comprises a rod shaped radiator arranged on a substrate, wherein the radiator has an outer surface made of a conductive material; a coil(125) covering the outer surface of the radiator; a feeding pin(124) having an end connected to the substrate and the other end connected to an end of the coil such that the feeding pin receives an input signal from the substrate; a grounding pin(123) having an end connected to the other end of the coil and the other end grounded in the grounding portion of the substrate; and a grounding plate(11) arranged on the substrate and opposed to the radiator.
