PURPOSE: A system and method for editing photograph files using a communication network is provided so that a user can transmit a photograph file, photographed using his mobile terminal, to a photograph editing service server and the server can freely edit the transmitted photograph file through various and complicated techniques. CONSTITUTION: A system for editing photograph files is comprised of a mobile communication network(310,300), a plurality of mobile terminals(10,20), a photograph editing service server(100), and an on-line album service server(200). The mobile terminals(10,20) transmit and receive their respective original photograph files to a communication network through the mobile communication network(310,300). The photograph editing service server(100) authenticates a subscriber who accesses through the mobile communication network(310,300), receives the original photograph file from the subscriber's mobile terminal, and transmits a list of editing tools. Also the photograph editing service server(100) edits the original photograph file using the editing data corresponding to an editing tool selected by the subscriber and transmits the edited photograph file to the subscriber's mobile terminal. The on-line album service server(200), connected with the photograph editing service server(100) and the mobile terminals(10,20) through a communication network, receives the original or edited photograph files and stores them by subscribers. |
