The invention relates a method for drawing up a correspondence table for inspecting the roughness of first surfaces which are made of same conductive material and have identical mechanical surface textures. The inventive method consists in determining the first representative electric value of the degree of surface roughness, applying a coating to the surface, said coating being of the same type for all second surfaces, measuring the second representative value of the degree of adherence of the coating to the surface and in including the first and second values in said correspondence table. This procedure is carried out for each surface of the plurality of second surfaces which are made of the same material and have mechanical surface roughness identical to the first surfaces and different degree of roughness with respect to each other.
