PURPOSE: An awning apparatus for an instrument panel for a vehicle is provided to shut direct light of the sun and not to overheat the instrument panel in a convenient use. CONSTITUTION: An awning apparatus for an instrument panel(40) for a vehicle includes a storing bar(20)an awning(30), the awning, a steel bar(31) and a magnet(41). The storing bar of the awning is installed to a roof(51) toward a front window(50). The storing bar of the awning has a rotating bar wound by the awning and a return spring. The awning stores in and draws from the storing bar of the awning. A steel bar is arranged on a tip of the awning. The magnet is arranged to the instrument panel near the front window of the vehicle. Therein, the magnet is combined with the steel bar. Therefore, the instrument panel is prevented from overheating by direct light and instrument and the instrument panel are protected.
