PURPOSE: A broad band transmitting/receiving antenna and a folded tapered slot antenna are provided to smoothly receive the ground wave digital television signal transmitted through a VHF or UHF band. CONSTITUTION: A broad band transmitting/receiving antenna comprises a radiation unit formed by folding the intermediate portions of tapered line antennas(10,20,30,40) in such a manner that four wires form a W-shape; and feeder units(11,21,31,41) constituted by conductive lines for supplying/receiving a current of a predetermined phase to/from the four wires forming a W-shape. A folded tapered slot antenna comprises a radiation unit; a tuning stub where a conductor is removed in a predetermined shape; and a microstrip line feeder unit constituted by using the conductor surface, as a ground surface, where the tapered slot antenna and the tuning stub are formed.
