PURPOSE: A camera system for detecting a vehicle is provided to drive safely and cope with the emergency situation by monitoring the vehicle and surroundings with adjusting the angle of the camera and mounting and selecting the camera variously. CONSTITUTION: A camera system for a vehicle comprises a camera(10) having a sensor unit feeding back the rotational angle of a motor and a gear connecting unit in an internal circuit module and processing the image of the object; a control unit(20) connecting to the camera and controlling the entire operation of the system; a display unit(40) connecting to the control unit, and displaying the image from the camera according to the signal from the control unit; a record unit(50) connecting to the control unit, and recording the image on the display unit according to the control signal from the control unit; and a control panel connecting to the control unit, and having a channel selection button applying the channel number to the camera and selecting the channel of the camera and an angle adjusting button adjusting the angle of the camera.
