发明名称 Verfahren zur Entschwefelung von aromatischen Materialien
摘要 1,144,496. Desulphurizing aromatic feedstocks. BRITISH PETROLEUM CO. Ltd. 29 June, 1966 [7 July. 1965], No. 28768/65. Heading C5E. An aromatic feedstock is desulphurized in the presence of hydrogen by absorption on a supported nickel catalyst at a temperature and pressure at which the catalyst has desulphurization activity, but below that at which it has substantial hydrogenation activity and by progressive increase of the temperature and, if desired, the pressure, as the catalyst takes up sulphur, the operating conditions being such that no hydrogen sulphide is produced. The catalyst may be a nickel on sepiolite catalyst particularly that prepared and activated as disclosed in Specification 899,652 and comprising 1-50% by weight nickel. The feedstock may be benzene or a mixture of aromatic hydrocarbons and paraffins or naphthenes. The reaction temperature is progressively increased within the range 50-290‹ C. (122-554‹ F.) and the pressure within the range 0-2000 p.s.i.g.. the space velocity being 0À05-10 v./v./hr. The hydrogen may be supplied as commercially pure hydrogen or a gas containing 95 % hydrogen and the remainder methane, and introduced in a hydrogen: hydrocarbon mole ratio on total feed of 0-01- 0.5 :1. The presence of the hydrogen is said to inhibit deactivation of the catalyst. The process is effective to remove up to 10 p.p.m. sulphur and can be preceded by a preliminary hydro-desulphurization if required. In the example benzene is refined to a sulphur content of 0.6 p.p.m. by weight.
