The cleaning device projects a mixture of abrasive particles and compressed air onto the surface to be cleaned. The mixture is made in a tank (1) supplied with compressed air and is projected through a projection orifice (40) of a projection handle (4) handled by an operator. The pressure of the projected air is regulated by a regulator (20) controlled by an electronic circuit (6) receiving information supplied by a pressure sensor (5) showing the air pressure downstream of the regulator, and electrical information supplied by a regulating device (42) activated by the operator and showing an ordered value to be obtained for the air pressure downstream of the regulator.
