In winders for winding webs of material, in particular of paper or cardboard, onto winding cores, and which incorporate a support or carrier roll around which the web wraps, at least in part, it is known that a web separating system and a system for applying a double-sided adhesive strip can be arranged within the wrap-around area of the support or carrier roll. The separating system incorporates a separating element that can be moved transversely and set upon the wrapped around support or carrier roll. According to the present invention, an adhesive tape dispenser for an adhesive tape that has a layer of adhesive which adheres to a backing tape, is arranged next to the support or carrier roll. This dispenser incorporates a supply roll and a take-up roll for the empty backing tape. The adhesive tape is guided transversely to the web around a free-wheeling pressure roll which is supported on a transversely moveable slide so that its adhesive tape can be pressed against the wrapped around support or carrier roll. A separating element (wheel) is secured to the slide behind the pressure roll as viewed in the direction in which the adhesive strip is applied. |
