A system and method for illumination of a vessel so that it appears to be internally illuminated are presented. According to some embodiments the illumination may be multi-color and may comprise time varying and spatial varying patterns of illumination. The illumination pattern may be representative of features of material contained in the vessel such as its temperature. |
