A floor construction (1) in particular designed for outdoor use is disclosed. The floor construction (1) comprises a number of boards (2) extending substantially parallel to each other, but spaced apart a distance (d). The boards (2) rest on transversally extending girders (4) provided with continuous grooves (3) along the side edges thereof. In an assembled state the floor construction (1) includes an underlying chute profile (5) that is located in the interstice between adjacent boards (2). The chute profile (5) has upward projecting side walls (5b) designed to be received within said grooves (3) along the side edges of the boards (2). In an assembled state the grooves (3) open downwardly. |
