PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device provided with a rational configuration for restricting power consumption and preventing the waste of energy. SOLUTION: The image forming device is connected to another image forming device via a network, receives a job, performs it and is provided with a priority degree receiving means for receiving the priority degree of the job to be performed in the device itself. A power consumption value to be allocated to the job to be performed is decided (step S60). When the total of the power consumption value of the job being performed by another image forming device which is connected via the network and the power consumption value allocated by the power consumption deciding means exceeds a prescribed upper limit (No in steps S61 and S62), a reduction is indicated in the power consumption value of the job which is being performed by another or self image forming device and also which is provided with the priority degree being lower than that received by the priority degree receiving means (step S65) and, then, the total is equal to or less than the upper limit. |
