Respiratory tract compositioning pyroglutamic acid and an organic acid for application to the nasal tissues

Compositions are described and their methods for prevention and treatment of cold and influenza-like symptoms due to respiratory tract viral infections. These compounds and their method of application are effective in both preventing the onset of the symptoms of colds and influenza or significantly mitigating them for people already afflicted with such symptoms.
