Method for modeling and reconstruction of the airways of a patient based on tomodensitometry measurements acquired in a spiral operating mode. The method has the following steps: processing of the data in order to obtain a gray scale representation of a pulmonary volume; extraction of a bronchial branch from said volume by conditional morphological intersection with a colored topology in order to obtain a binary branch; and presentation of the branch to enable navigation through the bronchial airways. The invention also relates to a corresponding device.
