PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an elastic sliding bearing unit securable a specified slide characteristic by raising the plane surface precision of a slide plate with which a low friction material comes into contact without requiring the construction of footing etc. even a foundation section of inprecise flatness and also improve the endurance with little decrease in vertival supporting capacity. SOLUTION: Beside a slide plate 2 is fixed integrally with the upper end part of a laminated rubber 1 that the rubber-like elastomer 1a and the platy rigidity body 1b are laminated alternately, it makes possible to install firmly this laminated rubber 1 to the foundation section 5 and also fix the low friction material 3 that comes into face contact with the slide plate 2 fixed on the upper end of the laminated rubber 1 to the upper structure 4.
