PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening device which can prevent the occurrence of a sag in the central part of a net body when a roll wire screen is closed. SOLUTION: This opening device is provided with a frame body 2 which is provided in an opening of a building, sashes 3a and 3b which are openably/closably provided in the frame body 2, and a roll wire screen 6 which is provided in the frame body 2; the wire screen 6 comprises a storage part 8 in which the net body 7 is to be housed by being rolled, a movable stile/rail 9 for holding the leading end of the net body 7 and opening/closing the wire screen 6 by pulling out/putting the net body 7 from/into the storage part 8, and a guide part 10 for slidably guiding both the ends of the movable stile/rail 9; a core material (disconnection preventing material) 29 is provided at the leading end of the net body 7; and the movable stile/rail 9 is provided with a holding part 32 for directly or indirectly holding the core material 29 in a bendable manner, and a regulation member 37 for regulating a sag in the central part of the core material 29.
