PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door lock which facilitates the blocking of a harmful opening of an existing case lock, to thereby enhance the safety of the door lock, and to provide a cylinder lock for use in the door lock. SOLUTION: The door lock has the case lock 2 housed and fixed into a door body 1, and the cylinder lock 3 fixed to the surface of the door body. The cylinder lock 3 is formed of a cylinder case 3a and a rotor 3b which is inserted into the cylinder case 3a and operates a dead bolt operating portion 4 of the case lock 2. The cylinder case 3a has a tongue piece 6 arranged therein in a manner protruding between the dead bolt operating portion 4 and the harmful opening 5 which is opened in the lock case 2a of the case lock 2, communicates with the interior of the case lock 2, and allows the unauthorized operation of the dead bolt operating portion 4.
