<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is generally difficult in a wheel type moving mechanism to miniaturize a vehicle and reduce the weight of the vehicle because a steering mechanism and a driving mechanism are individually required. <P>SOLUTION: In a wheel device with a motor, the problem is solved by combining two wheels which internally include reduction gear mechanisms 11, 12, a motor 5, and an encoder, rotatably connecting the wheels to chassis parts of a vehicle, and providing a wheel type moving mechanism having the steering mechanism and the driving mechanism for the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
