A solid handle (1) is equipped with two long flexible strips (2) approaching each other towards the upper end and joined with several small rigid bridge elements (3) between them. An application surface (4) like a bristle-carrying pad is attached to one of the strips (2). The device can also be assembled of two handles (1) and two pairs of strips (2) joined with a rivet serving as a rotation axle in order to use the device as a gripping tool.
