PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin-shaped liquid crystal display device using a plastic substrate and with which reliability of product is enhanced. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device 1 equipped with a liquid crystal display part 7 providing display with a liquid crystal 6 interposed between two sheets of the plastics substrates 4, 5 provided with a pair of electrodes 2, 3, a fixing holder 8 to fix the liquid crystal display part 7 and electronic components 9-11 constituting a driving circuit to drive the liquid crystal display part 7, metal wiring lines 24, 25 are formed on a periphery of the fixed surface side of the liquid crystal display part 7, the electronic components 9-11 are arranged in a space surrounding the liquid crystal display part 7 fixed to the fixing holder 8 and the electronic components 9-11 and electrodes 22, 23 of the liquid crystal display part 7 are connected via the metal wiring lines 24, 25 formed on the fixing holder 8.
