The invention relates to a method of detecting, identifying and, if necessary, quantifying bacteria contained in a complex mixture or water. The inventive method comprises a step involving multiple amplifications of specific and exclusive target nucleic acid sequences, which are performed simultaneously but which are separated in space. The invention also relates to specific and exclusive pairs of amplification primers which are used to carry out said method, as well as nucleotide probes for the real-time amplification or the detection of specific and exclusive nucleotide acid sequences of bacteria contained in a complex mixture or water. The invention further relates to molecular biology tools, namely a test kit and nucleic acid chips or micro-networks for the detection, identification and, if necessary, quantification of bacteria contained in a complex mixture or water. |
