<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling control method of a carriage, which makes it possible to pass a curve section of a cruising pathway at a high speed. <P>SOLUTION: When traveling a curve section with each of front and rear wheels 44 as a driving wheel, torque of the rear wheels 44 which are going to float is controlled by controlling speed of the front wheel 44 to which a weight is put. By this traveling control method, the traveling speed of a conveying carriage 3 is maintained by controlling the speed of the front wheel 44, and at the same time, idle turning of the rear wheel 44 can be prevented by controlling the torque, and therefore, it becomes possible to make the conveying carriage 3 travel the curve section at a high speed. Consequently, the traveling time of the conveying carriage 3 to travel to target station 5 can be shortened, and the working efficiency of facilities can be improved through the improvement of conveyance efficiency. Moreover, risk of waving, collapse of cargo piles, falling of article R at cruising of the conveying carriage 3 can be avoided by the traveling control of the conveying carriage 3 by two sets of motors 45A and 45B for cruising at this point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
