PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an efficiency of a diagonal flow turbine by reducing an incidence loss. SOLUTION: A moving blade 5 disposed on a hub shaft includes an inlet side edge 8 disposed on an upstream side, an outlet side edge 9 disposed at a downstream side, an outside edge 7 disposed at a radial outside, and an inside edge 6 disposed at a radial inside. The inside edge 6 is fixed to the hub shaft 4. RH<RS is satisfied, wherein RH is a radial distance of a first intersection region 12 between the edge 6 and the edge 8, and RS is a radial distance of a second intersection region 13 between the edge 7 and the edge 8. A shape line of the edge 8 is swelled in a concave manner toward the upstream side. Such a swell of the inlet side edge 8 can realize an improvement in the efficienty of the diagonal flow turbine by suppressing an incidence loss of the diagonal flow turbine to an incidence loss smaller than the incidence loss of a known diagonal flow turbine.
