<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a customer identification system utilized to identify a customer by storing the data of iris which can be acquired simultaneously with sight test. <P>SOLUTION: As the image data of iris can be acquired simultaneously with the sight test by an optometer 6, a shop-side terminal 2 takes the iris data from the optometer 6, and transmits the iris data to a management computer 12 connected by a communication means 3. Meanwhile, the management computer 1 comprises a processing part 4 and a customer data storage part 5, the customer data storage part 5 stores the customer's iris data, and further the processing part 4 has a function for extracting the registered iris data from the customer data storage part 5, when it receives the iris data from the shop-side terminal 2, and collating the iris data transmitted from the shop-side terminal 2 with the extracted iris data, to determine that the customer has been registered already when the iris data are agreed with each other, and to determine the new customer when the data are not agreed with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
