PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously display a separate image without affecting displayed contents on a display screen of a display unit as a main screen while avoiding the expansion of construction scale. SOLUTION: A display unit 35 is provided on a remote controller 30. An internal antenna 15 is provided in a TV receiver 1, and an antenna 31 is provided on the remote controller 30, so that image information can be transmitted from the TV receiver 1 to the remote controller 30. In the remote controller 30, the image information received by the antenna 31 is displayed on the display unit 35. In the TV receiver 1, a broadcast program can be received by an external antenna 21, and the received program can be stored and photo data etc. can also be stored in a storage 26. Further, a GUI image can be generated in a GUI image generating section 24b. The received program, the stored data in the storage 26, and the GUI image can be transmitted as image information from the internal antenna 15 to the remote controller 30 according to a command from the remote controller 30.
