PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a porous mat capable of producing enough effects of controlling moisture, insulating heat, insulating sound, deodorizing smell, etc. SOLUTION: This porous mat is given by interposing a raw material between clothlike materials 1, such as nonwoven fabrics and felt materials, and needling the clothlike materials 1, such as the nonwoven fabrics and the felt materials, so as to bond them, wherein a porous material 4 which is formed into a laminated state is used as the raw material.
