PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel compound that can be used for a germicide for agriculture and gardening. SOLUTION: This agricultural chemical contains a 1-aralkyl-N-(3-quinolyl)-1-cyclohexanecarboxamide derivative shown by general formula (1) or a salt thereof as an effective component, wherein, a dotted line shows a single bond or a double bond; A is a 1-4C alkylene group, a 2-4C alkenylene group, a 2-4C alkynylene group or the like; W is O or S; X is a halogen atom, a 1-6C alkyl group, a 1-6C alkoxy group or the like; m is an integer of 0-6; Y is a halogen atom, 1-6C alkyl group, 1-6C alkoxy group, phenyl group, phenoxy group, 1-7C acyloxy group, amino group, nitro group, hydroxy group, mercapto group, 1-7C acylthio group or the like; n is an integer of 0-5; Z is a 1-6C alkyl group or the like; and p is an integer of 0-6.
