PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous preparation excellent in usability such as feeling of use and capable of containing both of a polar ingredient and a nonpolar ingredient. SOLUTION: This skin care preparation for external use such as cosmetic comprises (1) a 10-20C acylsarcosine 1-4C alkyl such as lauroylsarcosine isopropyl and (2) one or more kinds of polyhydric alcohols selected from the group consisting of 1, 3-butanediol, 1, 2-pentanediol, 1, 2-hexyleneglycol, isopreneglycol, dipropyleneglycol, or the like.
