PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converting device that can output a highly accurate and stable voltage by obtaining an output voltage detection value that is not delayed, stable, and highly accurate. SOLUTION: In this power converting device, a prescribed number N (an integer of 4 or larger) of output voltage detection values are calculated during a prescribed period of time or the entire period of the switching cycle of a switching semiconductor element, the detection voltages are stored in a memory, the latest (N-1) pieces of the detection voltages are read out, the prescribed number N of the detection voltages are compared every time when they are newly required and maximum and minimum output voltage detection values are obtained out of them, an average value is calculated of the remaining detection values after excluding the maximum and minimum output voltage detection values, and the average value of the detection values is treated as the detection signal of the output voltage.
